on fleek Social is the social media management platform of on fleek GmbH, a full-service agency based in Mühlhausen, Bavaria. We run it for the companies we look after: our team plans the content, the client approves it from their own login, and approved posts appear automatically on the client's channels at the scheduled time.

The people working in the application are the on fleek team and the contacts at our client companies — independent businesses with their own logins outside on fleek GmbH. The linked social media accounts and YouTube channels belong to the respective client; the connection is only ever established with the account holder's consent via OAuth and can be revoked by them at any time.

What the platform does

A post is written once and travels its whole way from there — from the first idea through client approval to publication on every single channel.

Plan

Create posts for all the channels we look after, upload media and schedule them in the calendar. Month and week view, dates moved by dragging, time zone Europe/Berlin.

Approve

The client sees every post in their own login, comments, requests changes or approves it. Each submission is kept as a version, so it stays traceable what was changed.

Publish

Approved posts go out automatically at the scheduled time — one job per channel, with retries when something goes wrong and a visible error message when a platform rejects the post.

Keep track

The dashboard shows what is due: open approvals, client drafts, the posts scheduled for the coming week and any publication that failed — and the client sees the same picture for their own company. Every connected account carries the follower count that was read in when the account was linked. Reporting on channel metrics is in preparation.

How the work runs

    Connect the account

    The social media account is authorised for on fleek Social via OAuth — either by the account holder themselves or by a team member they have authorised to do so. We store no password, and the authorisation can be withdrawn at any time.

    Prepare the content

    Our team creates the posts, uploads images and videos and schedules them in the calendar. The client can contribute drafts of their own.

  3. 3

    The client approves

    The client reviews everything in their own login, comments or requests changes. Where an approval requirement has been agreed, nothing goes out without their sign-off.

  4. 4

    Publishing happens automatically

    At the scheduled time the platform publishes the post to the linked accounts through the official APIs and reports the result back.

Who has access

Logins are set up by us; there is no open self-registration.

  • The on fleek team works across all the companies it looks after and is responsible for planning, production and publishing.
  • The contacts at our client companies have a login of their own, see nothing but their own company and decide on approval.
  • Which posts require an approval before they go out is configured individually for each client.
